"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves."

Kenny Rogers RED day madness!!!

Today was Kenny Rogers RED day. Meaning that you can get another free quarter meal with every purchase of a quarter meal if your wearing anything red such as shirts, pants, accessories...

Well anyway me, Jing and a bunch of friends went to Kenny Rogers at 11am expecting the crowd to come much later. But sadly we were wrong.... When we reached there, there were only a few empty tables left. Majority of them were already filled with hungry people waiting for their meal. It was like a sea of red. Haha. And another thing was most of them were from the factories...

When we left Kenny Rogers we were shocked.... there was a long queue waiting to go into Kenny Rogers...waaa..madness I tell you. And it wasn't even 12pm yet!!

The queue of people that can be seen from inside Kenny Rogers

Sea of red!!

Just look at that queue!! Not even 12pm yet

Well anyway by the time Joel and Hui Mei got there, it was already 11.30am. We were supposed to watch Avatar at 12.05pm. So we decided to watch the movie first and leave the meal for later. Good choice... Marcus however stayed with Wen Ping, Siew Poh and Yonn Weih to eat first. He joined us later for the movie. So it was me, Jing , Joel, Hui Mei and May Xia.

After movie only we went to eat Kenny Rogers. Not that many people anymore. All in all, a day well spent. Mission accomplished!

Watched Avatar. It was my 2nd time by the way.... Awesome show. After that we went to eat Kenny Rogers. This time there was no more queue.

Two thumbs up!!

The muffins are tasty!!

My quarter meal with a side order of baked beans, mac n cheese and mash potatoes (sad to say the mash potatoes couldn't be seen because I already ate them)

Spring Chamber Restaurant

3rd January 2010

Was a Sunday and my aunt ajak me, my mum n my grandaunt out to eat. Destination???
Sun Yat Sen Memorial Centre in Penang....I was like huh??? Where is that? Eat what?

Well anyway, once I reached the restaurant it turned out the be a very pleasant dining experience. The restaurants name is Spring Chamber Restaurant. One set will cost you about RM28 and its pretty worth it. It consist of a starter, a main course, dessert, drink as well as a welcome drink. Pretty good if you asked me.

Well anyway I ordered the mushroom soup, lamb with mint sauce, German cheesecake and the iced peach tea.

All in all, a nice cozy restaurant that I would recommend you to go try if you're into western dining. Pricing is reasonable and the portions are just nice.
